Do the right thing, even when no one's looking - help out at work, even if it's not your 'job' ... Not because you have to, but rather, because if you do, you start becoming the type of person who does the right thing and the type of person who is willing to sacrifice their own needs for the betterment of someone else. Long story short, this is a pretty damn good way to grow, personally - you start holding yourself to a higher standard - one that you didn't know existed before.
