Tem alguma coisa de globalizante nesta história de dancinhas e passinhos da noite. Não sei se tem alguém que viaja e atualiza o modo de dançar de todo mundo, ou se faz parte do inconsciente coletivo, mas uma coisa é certa, como se dança aqui, se dança em Londres, NY, Tokio, Paris...

De qualquer forma: Pista é pra dançar. Quer paquerar? Tudo bem, comece lá e depois continue em outro lugar. Quer conversar? Fale pouco e rápido e siga para outro lugar. Ficar gritando na pista é um pavor.

Quer fumar? Redobre o cuidado, não tem coisa mais horrível de ser queimado. Quer beber? Preste atenção, porque ninguém quer tomar banho na pista. Quer bater o cabelo? Veja bem o espaço ao redor e quem está ao seu lado. Chicotada de cabelo nem gay merece.

Lugar de bolsa é na chapelaria, assim como mochila. Ficar batendo com a bolsa em alguém é muito irritante.

Are Nut Bans Promoting Hysteria? Worries about nut allergies are intense in some circles. (Lars Klove for The New York Times) Every parent of a school-age child has heard the warnings about nut allergies. Some schools ban nuts entirely, while others set aside special nut-free tables. Parents are often quizzed about the ingredients and preparation methods for birthday treats they send to school. One parent told me she was asked whether a clean knife used to cut brownies had ever been used to spread peanut butter. While nut allergies are clearly a risk to some children, often the response to this health concern represents “a gross overreaction to the magnitude of the threat,” argues Dr. Nicholas A. Christakis, an internal medicine doctor and professor at Harvard Medical School, in a recent column in the British medical journal BMJ.
